Aisle 02 · 1:1 Bartop & Tabletop

The bartop kit.

A 1:1 flood-coat epoxy that cures crystal clear. Here is how pros run it.

Seal coat

Seals the grain.

A thin scraped coat of 1:1 locks the grain so air can't bubble up through the flood. About 150 sq ft per kit.

Flood coat

Takes the color.

Pours to 1/8 in and takes metallic or ColorShift. 35 to 45 minutes of working time at 75°F.

Self-leveling

It levels itself.

Releases bubbles under a torch. Recoat window is 4 to 24 hours for more depth.

1:1 Bartop & Tabletop · 3 gal kit

$199 a kit.

38 sq ft at 1/8 in per kit. Light use in 24 to 48 hours, full cure in 72 hours to 7 days.

Straight answers

Before you order.

How do I figure coverage at a given thickness?

One US gallon covers 1,604 sq ft at 1 mil. Divide by your wet mils: 12 mils is about 134 sq ft per gallon, 30 mils is about 53. A 3-gallon kit at 30 mils covers about 160 sq ft. Add 10% for waste and profile. The material calculator above does the math and rounds up to whole kits.

Where are the TDS and SDS?

Every product has a technical data sheet and a safety data sheet. Email sales@epoxyville.com or use the pro desk form and we send the PDFs the same day. The times on this site are typical values at 75°F; the TDS is the document of record.

Will it yellow in the sun?

Every epoxy ambers under UV, ours included. For sunrooms, glass-front showrooms and garages with the door up all day, top the floor with Clearcoat UV.

What about moisture in the slab?

Have every slab tested before it is coated. Epoxy is not a moisture barrier over a wet slab. If a test comes back high, send us the numbers and a photo and we will tell you which product fits.

Which ratio do I use where?

2:1 for metallic floors and flood coats. 3:1 for prime coats, flake broadcast base coats and general coating work. 1:1 for bartops, tabletops and counters. Sand Coat for spalls, low spots and resurfacing before any of them.

How do bigger orders ship?

One or two kits ship by parcel and the cart estimates it by weight. Three kits or more ship freight on a pallet; we quote it before you pay. Alaska and Hawaii are quoted too.

Do you sell to homeowners too?

Yes. Same kits, same prices. We supply the material; we do not install. If it is your first floor, start with the Pro Floor Tool Pack and send us a photo of the slab first.
